Origin
The troop began with just two girls — Maddie and Ashley. Inspired by their siblings in Troop 251, they decided they wanted to join the adventure too. Together, they made it happen!
Once they got started, there was no stopping them. They began recruiting more and more members, and before long, the troop grew into an amazing community of girls embarking on the journey of a lifetime.
Though Maddie and Ashley have since earned their Eagle rank and moved on, we’ll always remember and thank them for their leadership!
Friendships
The scouting program places a strong emphasis on friendship and camaraderie among its members. Through exciting camping trips, rewarding community service projects, and shared adventures, scouts have the chance to form meaningful connections and build friendships that often last a lifetime. Along the way, they also develop essential social skills, helping them grow into well-rounded individuals. Many of these friendships endure long after scouts have left the program, creating bonds and memories that truly make scouting a unique experience.

Red Rope Challenge
The red rope challenge is a fun and engaging activity that tests scouts’ knot-tying skills. Scouts must tie 14 specific knots in under a minute to earn their own red rope, which they can wear on their uniform. This challenge helps improve their knot-tying proficiency and spurs interest in learning. The required knots range from a basic Square Knot to a Figure Eight.
Service to Community
Community service and keeping our city clean foster a strong sense of pride and responsibility in our scouts while positively impacting those around us. Our troop has proudly adopted a street through the city, committing to clean it every month in hopes that our efforts make a meaningful difference in our community. Through this ongoing project, we aim to serve as a model for others, showing how small actions can inspire positive change and create a cleaner, more caring community.
